Yasmin/Yaz Oral Birth Control

A settlement agreement was reached to settle all class actions filed in Canada.

All persons residing in Canada who were prescribed and used Yasmin and/or YAZ between December 10, 2004 (for Yasmin) or January 6, 2009 (for YAZ) and November 30, 2011 (for residents of Ontario and Quebec), or October 4, 2016 (for residents of Canada other than Ontario and Quebec), and who were subsequently diagnosed with arterial thromboembolism, venous thromboembolism, and/or gallbladder disease, may submit a claim to try to obtain compensation under the settlement agreement.

Family members of a person meeting the above description may also submit a claim as a family member of that person, provided that the person has submitted a claim themselves.
